HOW TO GET THERE
From Piazzale Roma/Ferrovia to Giardini (GIARDINI BIENNALE stop): Actv routes 1, 4.1, 5.1 (only route 6 from Piazzale Roma)
From Punta Sabbioni to Giardini (GIARDINI BIENNALE stop): Actv route 14 to the San Zaccaria stop and, from there, routes 1, 4.1, 5.1
SERVICES AVAILABLE
Bar, restaurant, bookshop, Infopoint, toilets with baby changing facilities, courtesy shuttle service in electric vehicles for visitors with reduced mobility. Baby strollers, walkers and wheelchairs available on request from on-site staff, on a first-come, first-served basis. Checkroom service with employee to store small items. Small and medium-sized pets are allowed on a leash in the Giardini’s green areas only.
WHERE TO STAY
Venice offers a wide variety of accommodation and the Exhibition is easy to reach, both on foot and by public transport, from anywhere in the city. If you’re staying in Mestre, you can get to Venice by bus/tram (Piazzale Roma stop) or train (Venezia Santa Lucia station) and then walk to the Exhibition (about 40 minutes) or take the vaporetto.
